The UHMWPE woven webbing has a specified approximate breaking load of 1,300 kgf (12.7 kN). This figure applies to the webbing material only. It is not a working-load limit, a complete-collar breaking-load rating, or a recommended dog weight.
The performance of the finished collar also depends on the buckle, stitching, adjustment hardware and leash attachment ring. Material breaking strength does not establish chew resistance or a no-pull function.
