What makes FeatherStrong different?
UHMWPE webbing. UHMWPE is a lightweight fiber known for a high strength-to-weight ratio and abrasion resistance. Those material properties help explain our choice of woven webbing, but they do not establish a load rating for a finished leash or collar.
Aircraft-Grade Aluminum. This is the hardware material used in the featured clips and buckles. Aluminum’s low density helps keep hardware weight in view when designing lighter gear. Check the complete item, the clip or buckle closure, and the fit of its connection rather than relying on a material name alone.
Sizes that fit your plans. Standard leash lengths and adjustable collar ranges offer a starting point. If they do not meet your needs, use our custom sizing request guide to prepare the details.

Width alone does not determine which dog can use a leash or collar. For a leash, consider the dog’s pulling behavior, your grip, the clip and the complete construction. For a collar, measure the neck first, then compare width, adjustment and buckle fit. The listed sizes are fit dimensions, not a finished-product pulling-load rating.
